Mark Peplow is a science writer with 20 years of experience as a reporter and editor. He was formerly chief news editor at Nature and editor of Chemistry World. His writing spans the physical sciences: from astrophysics and planetary sciences, through chemistry and materials, to Earth and environmental science.
Mark has a Masters in chemistry from the University of Oxford, a PhD in organometallic chemistry from Imperial College London, and an MSc in Science Communication from Imperial. He lives in Penrith, UK, and spends as much time as possible hiking the Lake District fells.
